Treatment Overview
Dental implants represent the most advanced and natural-looking solution for replacing one or more missing teeth. An implant is a small titanium post that is surgically placed into the jawbone beneath your gums. Over a few months, it undergoes osseointegration—fusing directly with the bone to act as a sturdy root replacement. Once healed, a custom-designed porcelain crown is attached via an abutment. The result is a replacement tooth that looks, feels, and functions exactly like a natural tooth.
Key Benefits of Treatment
- Provides unmatched stability and permanent tooth replacement
- Prevents bone loss in the jaw, preserving youthful facial contours
- Eliminates the slippage or discomfort associated with traditional dentures
- No need to grind down adjacent teeth (unlike traditional dental bridges)
- Allows you to eat, speak, and smile with absolute confidence
Step-by-Step Procedure
Surgical Planning
We perform a detailed 3D CBCT scan to assess bone density and map the precise surgical placement using digital guidance.
Implant Placement
Under local anesthesia, the titanium implant post is gently placed into the jawbone. Gums are closed, and healing begins.
Osseointegration (Healing)
Over the next 3 to 6 months, the jawbone naturally grows and fuses around the titanium post to establish a solid foundation.
Abutment Placement
A small connector post, called an abutment, is attached to the implant to securely link the post to the final crown.
Crown Fitting
We design and fabricate a custom, color-matched porcelain crown that is permanently screwed or cemented to the abutment.

Recovery & Aftercare Guidelines
Initial healing takes 3 to 7 days, during which you may experience minor swelling, bruising, and tenderness. You should stick to soft foods and rinse gently with warm salt water. Complete bone integration takes 3 to 6 months, which is a quiet process occurring beneath the gumline with no disruption to your daily lifestyle.
